Learn Modern Traditional Arabic "How to introduce someone in Arabic"

The third dialogue (part one) (between two males)

As we learn we start the dialogue with السلام عليكم  and we said that it is the traditional greetings of Arab and Muslims all around the word and the reply is وعليكم السلام and it means "peace be upon you"

Then he says هذا which mean "this", if you want to point or refer to someone or something which is masculine or male in gender , you use this word هذا which means "this"

The word أخى  of course means "my brother" and it is divided in to أخ  which means "brother"  and the word is attached with ي   which is used as a personal pronoun "my"

The word هو  is the personal pronoun "he". In the previous lesson, we learn the personal pronouns أنا  which means "I" and the personal pronoun أنت which means "you". So we have till now three of the personal pronoun أنا ، أنت ، هو  and we have learnt that أنتَ   with fathah refers to male and أنتِ with kasrah refers to female. هو  which is the personal pronoun "he" refers to male, and if we want to refer to a female we use هى as we'll see in part two of this dialogue.

The word  مدرس  means teacher and also it refers to a male. If we want to refer to "female" we attached the ة  to the word and it the sign of female for nouns; so a female teacher is مدرسة .

أهلا وسهلا as we have learned means "welcome" or "hello"

The word صديق  means "friend" and it is again attached with the possessive pronoun ي which means "my"; so the word صديقى means "my friend"

The word مهندس  means "an engineer"

The sentence مع السلامة  is used when we want to end a conversation and it means "goodbye" مع السلامة  is the basically way of saying "goodbye", but the literal translation of مع السلامة  will be مع  which means "with"  and the word السلامة  means "safety" or "wellness", so the meaning is "I hope you go with safety and wellness" or "be safe"

The third dialogue (part two) between two females

This is the female version of the dialogue and it is as similar as the male version except in some points.

The word  هذه  means "this" but if we want to refer to feminine or something is female, while هذا in the male version is used when we want to refer to something is male.

The word أختى has two parts, the first part أخت which means sister, and the possessive pronoun "my" which is ي which is attached to أخت , so أختى means "my sister"

The word هى is the personal pronoun "she".

The word طبيبة  means "a doctor", the ة is the feminine taa as we said before, if it is attached to a male noun it turn it to female, so the word طبيب means a male doctor, while the word طبيبة means a female doctor.

The word صديق means "a male friend" while the word صديقة means a female friend, and it has the possessive pronoun ي  which means "my" , and here we should notice an important thing, that if a word end with a feminine taa and if I want to add a pronoun to it like ي  "my" or كَ "your for male" or كِ  "your for female", the closed feminine taa turns to be opened taa or "normal taa" or the regular taa the we know ت because this taa is connected in writing with letter after it, while feminine taa can't be connected with the letter after it.

The word طالب means a male student, while the word طالبة with the feminine taa means a female student.
