  The Rules of Noon Sakin and Tanween أحكام النون الساكنة والتنوين  What is Noon Saakinah  Noon Saakinah: is a Noon with no Harakah or with a Sukoon sign on it. Tanween:- Is actually a noon Saakinah which comes at the end of the nouns. It is pronounced but not written as Noon Saakinah.   The heavy and the light letters الحروف المفخمة والمرققة   In Arabic alphabet there heavy letters and light letters; there are heavy letters all the time, and there are light letters all the time, and are letters which are heavy in cases and light in another cases ( temporary heavy letters) ; so, we have three groups of heavy and lights letters 1 - Heavy letters (all the time) الحروف المفخمة 2 – Light letters (all the time) الحروف المرققة 3 – Temporary heavy letters   Let's begin with the first type   1 - Heavy letters (all the time) الحروف المفخمة There are 7 heavy letters all the time in Arabic alphabet.   Modern Traditional Arabic "The Family of the Prophet Mohamed In Arabic"  Chapter 2  The second dialogue  الحوار الثانى  From This dialogue, we'll learn more about the family of the prophet Mohamed "peace be upon him" عليه الصلاة والسلام  The word هل as we said before is the question word of "yes/no question" it is equal to the whole helping verbs "is, are, was, were, can, etc."  The word شجرة  means "tree" , the question هل هذه شجرة؟  means "Is this a tree?"
